(for judgment of model gardens on exhibitions)


Two categories are being distinguished e.g. model gardens and firm presentations with each their own judging criteria:


Modeltuinen

  • Design concept
    • Total design layout, , creativity, originality (incl. colour scheme)
    • Routing and path plan, accessibility
    • Choice of materials, harmony dead-live

 

  • Quality layout
    • Paving
    • Pond,  water feature
    • Fencing, architectural elements
    • Use of plant material
    • Finishing touch

 

  • Planting plan
    • Quality of  plant material
    • Assortment
    • Harmony, colour scheme

 

  • Communicative value
    • Signs (including name of firm)
    • Leaflets, photos, audio visual presentations etc.
    • Recognisability and attitude staff
    • Reception room for visitors

Judgement of the presentation

  • Use of the available space and surveyability of the design
    • Use of space (good/moderate/bad)
    • Surveyability(good/moderate/bad)

 

  • Quality of hard materials, plant material en finishing in general
    • Hard materials (good/moderate/bad)
    • Plant material  (good/moderate/bad)
    • Finishing         (good/moderate/bad)

 

  • Communication of the message in personal information in text and image
    • Personal (good/moderate/bad impression)
    • In text   (good/moderate/bad impression)

  • Signs in general and name board with company logo in particular
