Lililum
Just as last year Liliums were well represented together with tulips at this Midwinterflora with more than 60 entries. A number of entries consisted of LA's. This type cannot compete with its sisters OT and Orientals and would actually deserve their own place in the race. Mak Breeding won the first three prizes and was thus a superior contestant. The pink OT Lily 'Tabledance' was a wonderful entry of great uniformity, correct ripeness stage, bright colour and dark green leaf and scored 9.40 points and the 1st prize with compliments of the jury.
