Tulips Keukenhof 2010

More tulips at Keukenhof
The number of entries has risen with appr. 30 entries of tulips on pot and more than 100 entries as cut tulips, which guaranteed a well filled Pavillion. The quality was much at the same level, which gave an exciting competition.

Tulips on pots
Th.C. Hoogenboom & Zn from Roelofarendsveen became third with 'Ile de France' with 9.17 points.
B&L Tulips from Ursem became second with a red tulip 'Krakow' with an orange-yellow edge of a fine quality with 9.20 points. The same firm also had the Winner: 'Robinho', a dark red double tulip with an even colour and strong, hard flowers: 9.25 points and the Award.

Cut tulips
Third became Hybrid from Slootdorp with 'Aswan', a lilyflowered type of a purple lilac colour: 9.28 points.
The second place was for B&L Tulips from Ursem with 'Dimension'. This edged tulip in red and yellow gained 9.29 points.
The best was Th.C. Hoogenboom & Zn from Roelofarendsveen with the entry 'Fabio', with 9.3 points and best tulip of Keukenhof 2010.
Stands
Stands with tulips in the race for an extra Keukenhof prize were Preoftuin Zwaagdijk Broeiproeven, B&L Tulips from Ursem with 9.0 points. The KAVB-kring Kennemerland scored 9.05 points. Th.C. Hoogenboom from Roelofarendsveen became third with 9.13 points; second was Triflor BV from Oude Niedorp with 9.15 points. The winner of the Award for the best stand with tulips became Hybris from Slootdorp with 9.17 points.
