Hyacinths with top quality on Keukenhof
The number of entries on the show is improving, as is the quality. Beautiful pot and cut hyacinths were present. Multiflora hyacinths had their own contest this year. A large number of competitions was initiated; for the best entry per competition an award and for the best hyacinth of the show a beautiful Keukenhof Prize.
Cut hyacinths
25 entries for judgement; the quality was good. The winner became 'Blue Saphire' in a fine quality by VOF Orientalis from Anna Paulowna with 9.25 points.
One box/pan red/pink
Uniformity of all hyacinths with a correct shape is of great importance. VOF Orientalis from Anna Paulowna scored 9.3 points and the Award with a red seedling under number which scored 9.3 points and the Award.

One box/pan Multiflora
A new competition with a modes number of participants of whom VOF Orientalis scored best with hyacint 'Freestyler' with 9.15 points and the Award.

One box/pan white/yellow
In this category Kwekersver. Markglory from Lisse drew the attention with a promising white cultivar, which scored 9.40 points and the Award.

One box/pan blue/purple
Comb. Nord/Lommers/NJJ de Wit had the best entry with 'Blue Pearl' in super quality and scored 9.41 points and the Award and also became Hyacint of Keukenhof 2010.

Stands
For entries with a total presentation with a score higher than 9.40 points an Extra Prize was offered by Keukenhof. Of four participants Hyacinten Team Hobaho from Lisse scored best with 9.40 points and thus deserved the Award.
