04-11-2010
Second trade judgment by VKC became a big hit
After the first successful judging by buyers and sellers of large trade firms in the Westland in the spring of this year now the Trade Fair in Aalsmeer took place on November 2. For the second time contestants could offer their flowering and foliage potplants for judgment by a specially selected trade jury. Also for roses a special jury was gathered. Contrary to the normal VKC judgments trade judgments deal with the presentation and quality for trade purposes. A wide assortment of products was shown.
The winners were: Bladplanten Elstgeest Potplanten, Nieuwe Wetering showed Dieffenbachia 'Green Magic'. The trade jury was impressed! A beautiful Dieffenbachia with a good colour and especially the contrasts with the dark green colour and the striking coloured white vein gave the plant an extra dimension. A sturdy, pure plant, which can be used for many purposes: the first prize was awarded with 9.50 points.
Flowering Potplants
