Difficulty in reaching VKC
As from 15 April 20.00 hrs until Monday 9 May 6.00 hrs the bridge between Oude Wetering and Weteringbrug is out of use. This causes difficulties in reachting VKC.
Reaching VKC by car
In both directions car traffic is led via the A4, the N207, the Alkemadelaan and the Weteringweg.
Public transport
Busline 56 connects Leiden with Leimuiden through Roelofarendsveen and Oude Wetering. Travellers from Leiden can take this line 56 as usual and descend at Roelofarendsveen (stop De Schelp). Travellers from Leimuiden can get a free bus which goes to the stop Westeinde in Roelofarendsveen via A4. From there busline 56 takes you further to stop De Schelp.
Busline 256 from Schiphol takes an alternative route via A4; travellers from Schiphol can change to line 56 at stop Rembrandt van Rijnsingel to stop De Schelp.
