Motivation of the nine nominated Plantarium stands 2011
The VKC jury judged the stands in four segments, being: Starting Material, Production, Retail and Trade. A large number of stands was offered for judging. As the quality of the stands is improving, it is getting more and more a difficult task for the jury to come to the best entrants. Standholders form the heart of Plantarium and largely determine the success of the show. Nine Nominations were made:
Category Trade
PKM A/S (Fairytale Flowers) from Odense, Denmark offered a stand with Campanulas as a work of art (the theme of the show), arranged in a nice wall. Besides the super quality a lot of information on Campanula was to be found in the stand.
The best entry in this category became Gasa Germany GmbH from Kevelaer in Germany. An excellent stand with a contemporary concept, looking like a picture post card.
Category Retail
Koos Buitenhuis VOF from Boskoop showed a stand with a very uniform quality with clear product information, all presented in a warm atmosphere.
The best entry in this category became Griffioen Wassenaar BV from Wassenaar with a great presentation of perennials with modern information on QR-Codes and a nicely colourfully tuned table presentation.
Category Starting material
In this segment some smaller stands, of which Van Aart Boomkwekerijen from Oudenbosch is one. A conveniently arranged stand with a large assortment of grafted assortment, which shows how excellent the quality of starting material can be.
Category Production
In this largest category as to number of entries three nominations:
Heinje Pflanzen Handel GmbH from Jeddeloh, Germany offered a stand with plants in beautiful colours. The attention paid to the plants can be seen in the quality.
Rijnbeek & Zn Sam BV from Boskoop showed an assortment of perennials, which sell themselves. From cutting to garden... a full assortment was shown, under which a number of novelties in a contemporary assortment.
the winner in this category became Ronald Moerings BV from Roosendaal. The jury was very impressed by this entry. A wonderful complete concept of aquarium and pond plants was presented to the jury.
Motivation Best Supplier
A stand with an overwhelming 'stopping power'in a bright colourful open presentation. 'What you see, is what you get'! The stand has integrated this year's theme Art best with their own product. All criteria have been fullfilled and were tuned to eachother. The social media are coming well into view.
Motivation standwinner Plantarium 2011
The jury came to the unanimous conclusion that the winner of the best stand of Plantarium 2011 should be RONALD MOERINGS BV from Roosendaal.
The motivation was as follows: a stand with a world wide, well recognizable concept with a vast assortment of aquarium and pond plants. A number of innovating concepts will appeal to the viewer. The firm has a workable solution for all problems. This great concept fits from A to Z, from quality to disease control up to information for the consumers. The packaging of the product is unique and is very appealing. A stand of which Plantarium may be proud and a true winner of the prize Best Stand Plantarium 2011.
