The first registration of the week in 2010 is the botanical species Euphorbia flanaganii. It belongs to a group of succulent Euphorbias called Medusa Head. Name giver for this group is E. caput-medusae. Under this name the plant was brought in for registration. It appeared to be E. flanaganii. A compact growing species, better suitable as potted house plant. The Int. Euphorbia Society is not sure whether this natural variety actually belongs to the species E. woodii.
