In week 8 a large quantity of registrations was delivered. Among them a lot of new tulip cultivars. The lot of tulips used as cut flowers are of the triumph group. Also important are the Double Group, Parrot Group and Fringed Group. However, less cultivars belonging to the Lily-flowered Group are registered, which is a shame for such a beautiful shaped tulip. 'Moonbird' is a nice yellow lily-flowered tulipnot to be missed, and therefore registration of the week.
