Registration of the week

Week 11 (2010)

20-03-2010

It really is  becoming spring, counting the number of registrations in week 11. Pansies, potchrysanthemums and regal varieties also known as French geraniums formed the principal part in the entries. Striking were some registrations of older bulb crops grown here and there as cut flower but not familiar to the general public. The red and yellow Crown Imperial. The restriction for use as cut flower can be the scent of the plant. Fritillaria pallidiflora, the pale flowered fritillary does not smell however, and is the registration of the week.
